Find a part when you already know (or can read) the molded number on the brick.

Look up

  1. Enter a Design ID stamped inside tubes (e.g. 3001) or an Element ID.
  2. Try descriptive names like "Plate 2x4" if you do not have the stamp.
  3. Tap an example chip or press Enter to search.

Open details

  1. Pick a result card to open the full part page.
  2. Check color variants, sets, and mold notes (e.g. 3068b groove).
  3. Use Piece Finder or Identify if the stamp is worn or missing.

Where to find the Design ID stamp

Standard bricks & plates

Design ID inside hollow anti-stud tubes on the underside.

Slopes & modified bricks

Mold number on an inner cavity wall — often near the bottom edge.

Minifigure legs & torsos

Tiny stamp inside the leg cavity or under the neck post.

Tiles & smooth parts

On the smooth underside; modern tiles (3068b) also have a perimeter groove.

Design ID vs Element ID

  • Design ID: Mold shape for any color (e.g. 3001 = any 2×4 brick).
  • Element ID: One color variant (e.g. 300121 = red 2×4 brick).
